Do you long for a deeper connection with your heart, body and mind?

Would you like to get to know your unique rhythms rather than live at a pace imposed upon you?

Do you identify as a highly sensitive human and find it more of a burden than a gift?

Do you wish you had support for getting unstuck?

we hear you!

Inspired by Hakomi Therapy’s “Sensitivity Cycle”, this experiential group will hold a somatic and mindful container for you to explore your internal compass for insight, action, satisfaction and rest. We will tap into what is already inside than can allow you to flow through life with more ease and bring light to shift limiting habits and beliefs. This six week group will include space for both structure and emergence, personal and collective inquiry, and experimentation.

In this workshop, we will use:

Guided Mindfulness / Movement & Somatic Exploration / Journaling / Group Process / Integrative Tools & Resources

Caring for the Anxious Self:

a virtual drop-in class

Many of us are feeling unsettled and shaken while life as we know it has significantly shifted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As a response to the collective anxiety, we are offering a weekly drop-in class. In this class, we will share experiential and body-centered tools for decreasing anxiety and increasing resiliency during this time of great uncertainty.  Tools will range from grounding practices to self-compassion techniques, held in a mindful and caring container with room for sharing experiences.

As we practice social distancing as an act of solidarity and safety, the need for group connection and support are deeply relevant. It is our hope to create a space for folks to feel cared for by self and by community. Please note that this will not be group therapy, but rather a learning environment that offers therapeutic tools.

This class is currently on pause. Please join my mailing list to be notified about future offerings.

This group will be led by two somatic psychotherapists, Jenna Abernathy, LPC Intern & Jenni Goldstein, LPC Intern. Both of us are supervised by Anne-Marie Benjamin, LPC, CHT.
